Nonna’s Frames was formally established in 2017, however, the idea of these frames was initially created in 2000.

At that time, I was teaching craft classes at the local library and developed a pocket frame that the kids could put pictures in.  It was adorable.  The photos were visible through a cut out star or circle in the front of the pocket.  The kids were able to decorate the frame with sports themes, foam flowers or even just draw pictures on them.  They got raved review every time I held this class.

A few years later, I was working in an office and noticed that people had pictures pinned up in their cubicles.  In a very short amount of time, the ends of the pictures would become curled up and the picture was ruined.  Immediately, these frames came to mind.

I spent years perfecting the frames to the right sizes and durability.  The next hurdle was making the designs adaptable so they would appeal to men, women and teens in all occupations.

I knew that there was a huge marketplace for them.  When I started, the only group of people that I was thinking about were the ones sitting in a cubicle all day.  But, then I got to thinking and thought that if I put a magnet on the back, it would open the door to so many more work spaces.  Bus drivers, Truck drivers, Service men and women, bridal parties, teens, on refrigerators, the list goes on and on.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.  They make great gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Birthdays or just about anytime you need to give a gift.

These beauties are made by hand in the USA.
